Daleel Petroleum has reaffirmed its position as a responsible energy operator through its active participation in the Oman Petroleum & Energy Show (OPES) and Oman Sustainability Week (OSW) 2025, where the company was recognized for its commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. The company’s presence was marked by several recognitions and partnerships that reinforce its role as a key contributor to Oman’s energy sector and national development goals.
Daleel received the Oman Sustainability Gold Award, recognizing its structured and consistent Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. This distinction underscores Daleel’s long-term commitment to sustainable operations. Additionally, the company was recognized as one of the top three outstanding projects for its initiative titled ‘LPG Energy Source to Replace Diesel’ in the project showcase category.
- In support of local content and the In-Country Value (ICV) strategy, Daleel Petroleum signed four significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during the event.
- In partnership with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Daleel will co-fund the expansion of the Emergency Unit at Ibri Hospital, enhancing healthcare services in Al Dhahirah Governorate.
- In collaboration with Thawani, Daleel will introduce a targeted incentive program to promote stronger safety and health practices across its workforce.
- The company also awarded three contracts to local Omani companies to provide drilling support services, further empowering local suppliers within the oil and gas value chain.
With the objective of shaping the dialogue around Oman’s energy future, Daleel employees also contributed to key event committees, including the steering committee, the EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery) working group, communications, and program planning. Daleel’s exhibition booth attracted a high-profile visit from H.E. Mohsin bin Hamed Al Hadrami, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, underscoring the significance of Daleel’s initiatives and projects. Throughout OPES, Daleel’s technical and operational professionals actively participated in panel discussions, technical talks, and industry forums.
