Daleel Petroleum Wins Gold Sustainability Award and Signs Two Development Agreements at OPES

Daleel Petroleum was a standout participant at the Oman Petroleum & Energy Show (OPES), where a series of initiatives and milestones underscored its continued commitment to sustainability, community development, and the advancement of Omani talent across the energy sector.
During the event, the company signed two agreements to fund and implement development projects in Al Dhahirah Governorate. The agreements were signed on behalf of Daleel Petroleum by Managing Director Mr. Guan Shuo and Deputy Managing Director Mr. Abdullah Al Shanfari, while His Excellency Taher bin Mabkhout Al Junaibi, Governor of Al Dhahirah, signed on behalf of the Governorate.
The first agreement supports the second phase of the Al Nahda walkway and park in Ibri, including the development of green spaces and the addition of a skate park. The second agreement covers the lighting of the Masrouq Road intersection, aimed at enhancing road safety and strengthening local infrastructure.
Daleel Petroleum also received the Gold Award at this year’s Sustainability Awards, in recognition of its leadership and continued excellence in sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
Beyond the agreements, Daleel employees actively contributed to OPES through technical papers and participation in panel discussions focused on the future of the oil and gas industry, sustainability, and innovation, engaging with leading regional and international experts.
The company also took part in the National Youth booth, highlighting its ongoing commitment to developing Omani talent, empowering youth, and expanding career and professional development opportunities within the energy sector.
